Nomade Cheese Knife by Roland Barthélemy

From the long collaboration between professional cheese master Roland Barthélémy and Forge de Laguiole was born the cheese knife Nomade, which proudly bears two skills of French heritage.

The design combines modernity and efficiency, and is specially designed as a companion for cheese gourmands. The blade has a wide edge to perfectly coat even the most delicate dishes.

Roland Barthélemy is president of the International Guild of Cheesemakers. He comes from a family of cheesemakers and became interested in this fascinating world at a very early age thanks to his father Jean-François.

Over the years, he has become a proud ambassador of traditional French cheesemaking: He has even become the cheese supplier to the Presidential Palace of the French Republic.

His role as ambassador of French cheese heritage has earned him several awards:

Commandeur de l'Ordre du Mérite Agricole Chevalier de l'Ordre de la Légion d'Honneur.

He is also a jury member in numerous competitions around the world.
